Scotland at the 2010 Commonwealth Games

The Commonwealth Games Council for Scotland announced on 7 July 2009 that the chef de mission for the Scotland team at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi will be Jon Doig, the CGS Chief Executive and the General Team Manager at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
Scotland used ''Flower of Scotland'' as its victory anthem for these games; this replaced ''Scotland the Brave'' which had been in use since the 1950s. The change was decided by the Scottish athletes in a vote.〔("Games team picks new Scots anthem" ), BBC, 9 January 2010〕
